INSTA360 ONE RS

One camera to capture it all - that's the aim of this clever and compact modular action shooter. It shares the same three-part design as its sister One R cam: one battery, one processor, and one of three lens modules, each adapting the camera's capabilities to the job in hand.

That trio of interchangeable lenses makes it easy to jump from shooting regular action to full 360° with a quick switch - which is not something you can do with most GoPros. The price ramps up fast for complete packages, but the full triple-lens kit includes a 4K Boost lens that snaps 48MP stills and 4K 60fps videos, a 5.3K lin wide-angle co-engineered with Leica, and a 5.7K 360° lens. That's a lot of firepowers - and it's all waterproof.

Framerates aren't quite a match for the GoPro Hero10 Black, but you do get built-in image stabilization (called FlowState), plus Active HDR for more balanced action sports footage. There's also a horizon lock that helps you snare smooth footage even on super-bumpy adventures, plus an extra mic for improved audio, beefed-up processing power, and faster offloading of your footage over Wi-Fi.

The One RS is a highly capable and unique cam-of-all trades that you can do plenty with. It can even make selfie sticks disappear from your shots.
