Taking off from former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen’s contention that cricket should resume with the Indian Premier League, one has to wonder if a consolidated cricket calendar for the world is possible in light of the recent lockdown and shutdowns around the world.
Former South Africa turned England cricketer has put forth the wish that post the lockdown and restrictions scenario that the world is currently faced with the notion of a pandemic in full force that the cricket season should either commence or resume (depending on the countries where it was being played before the restrictions brought things to a halt) with the IPL season 13 which has currently stalled in discussions and on the field given the uncertainty of the times.
