5 Young Pacers From IPL 2022 Who Can Represent India In The Near Future

Every year, the Indian Premier League (IPL) sees youngsters from domestic cricket making a mark in the T20 tournament in no uncertain terms. And why not? After all, it's the 'Indian' Premier League. The IPL has given Indian cricket many match-winners, starting from off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin in the early years to Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya more recently. IPL 2022 has been an impressive season for young Indian pacers. Although spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Wanindu Hasaranga are the leading wicket-takers in the tournament, the young fast bowlers have made an impact as well. Here are five names that could represent the country in the near future.

1. ARSHDEEP SINGH: Of the five names on the list, Punjab Kings (PBKS) left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh seems closest to being a finished product. Only 23 years old, Arshdeep has a very mature head on his shoulders, which explains why he bowls most of the tough overs for Punjab. Significantly, he rarely gets hit. Arshdeep is very good at executing his yorkers at the death and hits the hard lengths consistently to keep the batters in check. He may not have claimed too many wickets in IPL 2022. In fact, he has only six scalps from 11 games. But wickets have fallen at the other end due to the pressure created by Arshdeep.
