The recent transfer window saw some comings and goings at Celtic Park

DURING the January transfer window, Celtic brought two new faces to Paradise in Polish striker, Patryck Klimala and Ivorian midfielder, Ismaila Soro, both on four-and-a-half year contracts.

The former, signed from Polish top-flight side Jagiellonia BiaÅ‚ystok, spoke of his excitement after putting pen to paper, and said he can’t wait to show the Hoops faithful what he can do.

“It’s a big moment for me and I’m very excited,” the Polish under-21 internationalist told Cetlic TV. “I’m very happy to be here at such a massive club.

“Before signing, I had the chance to see the stadium and I felt the atmosphere. It was amazing so I’m looking forward to playing here in front of the fans. I’m very happy that everything is finished now and looking good.”

With seven goals in 17 league appearances in Poland, the 21-year-old is keen to transfer that form to Scotland, and has thoroughly enjoyed his short time on the pitch so far, appearing as a late substitute against Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup and St Johnstone in the Premiership.

As a teenager, Klimala learned his trade at local club, Lechia Dzierzoniow, and then Legia Warsaw’s academy before joining Jagiellonia BiaÅ‚ystok.
