Kelsey Hodges Was Used To Wearing The Green And White Back Home In Texas, So She Is Delighted To Be Wearing The Colours Again In Scotland

Jumping Through Hoops

KELSEY Hodges has swapped the green and white hoops of the University of North Texas for the green and white Hoops of Celtic as she progressed her football career after moving to play in Europe.

The American defender is loving life with Celtic and is excited by the possibilities of what she and her team-mates can achieve in the second half of the season under the guidance of manager, Eddie Wolecki Black.

You’ve been kept busy on and off the field. What have you been doing away from football?

I’m studying Sports Management and I’m currently doing my postgraduate at Stirling University. I have an undergraduate degree in marketing and my career interests lie between sports marketing or sports events management. I did some internship work during my undergraduate course with the Houston Texans NFL team, while I lived in Australia and did some marketing work with the club that my team was associated with. Hopefully down the line, I can work with a professional team or college athletics because I love college athletics.

How did your career with Celtic begin?
