Christopher Jullien delighted with his League Cup final winner
CHRISTOPHER Jullien said he was almost left speechless after scoring the winning goal in the Glasgow derby League Cup final at Hampden, and he described the achievement as the greatest of his career so far.
Celtic successfully defended the League Cup final against Rangers in a hard fought 1-0 win to clinch their 10th successive domestic trophy in three years.
There was little separating the two sides, and Fraser Forster came to Celtic’s rescue on numerous occasions to keep the champions in the game. At the other end Jullien made the difference 15 minutes into the second period when he side-footed in Ryan Christie’s set-piece.
