November 2020

The year 2020 has been exciting, albeit for the wrong reasons. With the lockdown slowly becoming the new normal, living and celebrating weddings during these times has become a reality. BADAL RAJA COMPANY: BADAL AND RAJA JAIN

Easily one of the best wedding photographers and videographers in India, the Badal Raja Company is the duo collaboration of brothers, Badal and Raja Jain. The company was started in 2002 and has seen the duo sky rocket to shoot some of the best and prestigious local and international weddings across the globe. While Badal Jain focusses on those cinematic videos, Raja Jain mesmerises the viewers with creative stills making this brother duo a force to reckon with.

Are you taking projects during these pandemic times? if yes then how do you manage it?

Of course yes, managing is not that tough. Team size has reduced as the guest list has gone down. So everything has reduced - the team, the guests, and the vendors. The scale of the wedding has gone down but the enthusiasm of my clients is definitely up. If they want to have a good party they will enjoy, if they are wanting to dance to the free hours and they are having a blast. It’s the celebration of welcoming a new family member. So it’s not that pandemic has really affected any enthusiasm of the wedding industry, it’s just that the size has gone down.

Have the restrictions made it easier or tougher to shoot weddings than in the normal days?

The Rise of Street Couture Photography

Street couture photography has taken over fashion culture in a way few trends have before. It blends high fashion with real world grit, turning sidewalks into runways and everyday people into style subjects. This shift did not happen overnight. It grew from a mix of social media influence, shifting brand priorities, and a global appetite for authenticity. What used to be a niche style is now a major force shaping how fashion is captured, consumed, and imagined.
