Ramanuja's teachings echo in Constitution: Rajnath

Hyderabad: Defence minister Rajnath Singh said that Saint Ramanujacharya’s preachings of equality echo in the Indian Constitution.

Addressing a gathering at an event commemorating Saint Ramanujacharya’s Sahasrabdi Utsav in Muchintal on Thursday, he said that that saint tried to take the Vaishnava culture to everyone in the society irrespective of their caste and class. He described the 216-feet statue as a reincarnation of of the saint.
