Raab urges G7 to focus on vaccines

FOREIGN Secretary Dominic Raab will discuss access to vaccines and global security as he hosts the first G7 foreign ministers meeting in more than two years.

Three days of face-to-face talks will begin in a Covid-secure venue in London on Monday.

Among those present will be US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, on his first European visit other than a Nato meeting in Brussels.

While ministers from each G7 nation will meet with the Foreign Secretary over the next three days, Boris Johnson has already flexed his Indo-Pacific credentials by inviting India, Australia, and South Korea.

Yesterday it emerged the secretary-general of ASEAN, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, will also be present.
