Rahane says he is confident of making a comeback in ODI side with consistency in Tests

Vice-Captain of the Indian Test team Ajinkya Rahane is optimistic of making a comeback into the ODI side in near future. Rahane has not played limited-overs cricket for India since February last year and has remained out of favour in both ODIs and T20s. However, the stylish right-hander feels he can be in contention for a comeback if he can keep scoring runs consistently in Tests.

Rahane last played a T20 game for India in August 2016 against West Indies at Lauderhill and his last ODI appearance for the Men in Blue came against South Africa in Centurion last year.

Ahead of the start of the twomatch Test series against Bangladesh, Rahane spoke to the reporters and said he was sure he will be back in the ODI squad soon.
