At TV Today Town Hall, Kejriwal says AAP govt has cut out on wasteful spending in order to provide free services in Delhi

AS DELHI heads to vote for the state assembly polls, the Aam Aadmi Party seems upbeat about the prospects of a second-term in the national capital.

The party has continued to project itself as a pro-good governance party. Exuding confidence of a mandate as large as 2015, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who was speaking at the India Today Townhall in Central Delhi’s Connaught Place gave a long list of the achievements of his government.

“Five years ago, you gave common people like us such a big mandate. Since then we have been working day and night and after five years, it is my responsibility to tell you all what we have done in the time period,” he said.

Kejriwal refuted charges that the Delhi government had only started working on the front foot in the lead up to the Delhi polls. He held the tussle between his government and the Lieutenant Governor as responsible for any delays that the AAP schemes have faced in Delhi.
