Data from Kayak, too, highlights that 72% of Gen X and 75% of baby boomers are choosing destinations with rich traditions and heritage. "There has been a notable surge in domestic air bookings for Diwali (an increase of 28% from last year)," says Gaurav Patwari, vice president, air category, Cleartrip.
