NOVAK DJOKOVIC has said he is willing to miss Wimbledon and the French Open — and a possible place in the record books — over his Covid vaccination stance.
The men’s tennis world No1 broke his silence for the first time since being ejected from Australia on the eve of the Australian Open after a previous medical exemption for entry was revoked by the authorities there.
Djokovic revealed he still had not had the Covid vaccine and, asked if he was willing to risk missing Wimbledon and the French Open — as well as potentially the all-time record of Grand Slam titles — as a result, he said: “Yes.”
