Doherty's late dash seals comeback win

ALAN Dickens praised his team’s character and composure after England produced another clinical late finish to make it two wins from two in the U20s Six Nations.
An outstanding finish from Sale youngster Connor Doherty 12 minutes from time broke Scottish hearts at Myreside.
Doherty, 19, pirouetted his way past two tacklers to cross having taken Jack van Poortvliet’s pass at pace and shown excellent finishing instinct. Saracens fly-half Manu Vunipola kicked six points and was named man-of-the-match with a commanding performance.
England were relieved to have came out on top to lie just a point adrift in the table of Ireland, who gained another bonus point win over Wales. Head coach Dickens said: “We knew this would be a tough place to come but the players showed great character and composure to win it.
“We didn’t have the majority of possession or territory so to come out on top is really pleasing and testament to the players.
