Super Scott makes it a famous five

MACCLESFIELD Town are doing their best not to get carried away with their form, but first-team coach Byron Jenkins admits everyone at the club is delighted with how the league leaders have started the season.
The Silkmen’s fifth consecutive league win saw them go three points clear at the top of the National League table.
Scott Wilson scored the only goal of the game for John Askey’s men at Leyton Orient to keep the Moss Rose club in first place with 32 points from their opening 16 league fixtures.
“I enjoy winning and obviously you’ve got to enjoy it while it’s happening, but we know we can’t get too carried away,” said Jenkins. “Everyone is aware we need to do it again now on Tuesday night (at Dagenham & Redbridge) and while we are out in front we need to keep the pressure on the other teams.
“If we can get a good run going up until Christmas then you never know and we might have a sustainable lead which we can run with and then get automatic promotion, so that’s what we’re aiming for!
