SABRI Lamouchi denied that Nottingham Forest’s two-goal hero Lewis Grabban had been rested after the former Millwall forward’s impressive cameo almost sealed a dramatic turnaround.

LAMOUCHI HAILS HIS ‘SUPER-SUB'

Aiden O’Brien struck late in the game to rescue a point for Millwall after Shaun Williams had given them an early lead.

Grabban did not start the encounter, but was brought on just after the hour mark with Millwall a goal up thanks to a header from Williams.

However, the 31-year-old made an immediate impact off the bench, poking home Joe Worrall’s header. He then converted Sammy Ameobi’s inviting delivery at close range two minutes from time to seemingly hand the three points to the East Midlanders before O’Brien grabbed a point in added time.

Fans were surprised that Grabban and Joe Lolley were rested, but Forest boss Lamouchi said the decision was tactical.
