COVID-19 pandemic creates uncertainty.
STONINGTON—Grades, graduation and the school year are all up in the air after a virtual Community School District board meeting on Tuesday.
And so is the school budget, since Gov. Janet Mills announced earlier in the day that she was moving Maine’s primary election from June 9 to July 14.
Changing the election puts the towns of Stonington and Deer Isle in a quandary since voters were to approve the school district budget during the primary election.
