AMM Cover Model: Dan Decker

So you worked really hard to build a nice body and you wanted to show off your muscles. At the same time it wasn’t too much to ask to be dressed in fine clothes. Raise your hands if you wanted to see more muscular guys on the runway for fashion show. the interview:

- 

AMM - What has entered your life first, bodybuilding or modeling?

Dan - I will have to say bodybuilding entered my life long before modeling. I started lifting weights in high school.

AMM - Is it a struggle for you to maintain your body in such muscular condition?

Dan - I really have never had a problem with body fat. So I always look muscular. I think body fat plays a big roll in how muscular you look. So I guess it’s not really that hard for me. Keeping muscle mass is something you have to always maintain though; if you don’t use it you lose it - LOL.

AMM - Yes, that does seem to apply in this case quite well. Name a few modeling assignments that you have done.

Dan - I did a workout layout for Exercise for Men Only with a photographer by the name of Richard Morris for their Military workout issue, I was the Air force guy. Guess it’s kinda ironic when I was actually in the Navy. I also shot with a photographer by the name of Eric Jacobson that has shot some big names in the business such as Bill Davey, Roger Apple White, Mark Andrews, Christian Boving. I had photos published in American Health and Fitness from that shoot. A supplement company by the name of Interactive Nutrition has used me in a few of there flyers also. It was cool to be on the cover of their Catalog at the 2001 Arnold Classic that they handed out to hundreds of people.
