The Audi 2022 A8L Technology Meets Comfort

UNVEILED globally in November last year, the A8 facelift is Audi's latest entrant into India. Being the car maker's top offering, the A8 packs the best of what Audi has to offer. A statement piece, this sedan is the ideal expression of what Audi can do. After all, the 2022 Audi A8L goes head-on against its natural rivals — the dominant Mercedes S-Class and the BMW 7 Series.

On the outside, it's not a revolutionary design, and its dimensions remain unchanged. However, the car looks much sportier and poised. The most prominent change is the grill: it's grown in size and is even shinier. There is a generous use of chrome which, along with the reworked bumpers and headlights, give the A8 a very strong road presence. Just like the headlights, the front air intakes are brand new and their shape accentuated by chrome. The clean body style theme continues to flow through the sides of the car and emphasises its length. On the rear are the brand new OLED tail lamps, which can be customised by choosing one of two rear light signatures. A proximity sensor automatically lights up the OLEDs when a car comes within 2 meters of a stationary A8.
