People took up all sorts of new hobbies during lockdown, from sewing to stockpiling vast quantities of toilet roll. However, arguably the most popular of all was bread making.
Sadly, the boom in home-based baguette wrangling led to some entirely unforeseen consequences. Chief among these was that bread makers all sold out, yeast all sold out and, in many places, even flour all sold out.
