The Long Coastline Of God's Own Country

Flanked on the western coast by the Arabian Sea, Kerala has a long coastline of 580 km (360.39 miles), all of which is virtually dotted with sandy beaches. Its long shoreline consists of various serene beaches that make your journey to this heaven a memorable one.

The golden beaches, in an eternal affair with the Arabian Sea, sweep you off your feet; the misty hills in green velvet and the alluring fragrance of tea and coffee plantations beckon you to a worldly sojourn as you travel to Kerala.

A modern and progressive state with a cosmopolitan outlook, Kerala is accessible quite easily. Well connected by all major systems of transport, the place is now one of the most sought-after travel destinations in the world. Let’s explore some of the most sought-out beach destinations of Kerala.

Kovalam Beach

Kovalam is a popular surfing destination in India. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse — sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, and catamaran cruising are some of them. The tropical sun acts quickly to paint a faint coppery skin tan in a matter of minutes. Life on the beach begins late in the day and carries on well into the night. The beach complex includes a string of budget cottages, Ayurvedic health resorts, convention facilities, shopping zones, swimming pools, and yoga & Ayurvedic massage centers. Accommodation facilities for tourists at Kovalam range from five-star hotels to budget hotels and the choice of food available at restaurants and cafeterias range from continental to South Indian delicacies. Once a popular spot for hippies, the town nowadays features a number of Ayurvedic salons and yoga schools. Most visitors use the town as a spot to swim and surf or climb the 115 foot-tall lighthouse to get views over the town and the ocean.

Are you ready to pay the price for an incredibly thin iPhone?

I'm not going to lie; I'm a Pro Max kinda guy. Ever since Apple released the 11 Pro Max, I've naturally gravitated towards the biggest, mostest iPhone. The iPhone Air then is the kind of phone I'd expectedly veer away from, the antithesis of the Pro Max, a phone that prioritized slimness and hand-feel over camera versatility and battery life. But, three weeks of testing the Air has me reconsidering my priorities, appreciating the in-the-hand benefits I'd long forgotten.
