Most of us can agree it’s been a particularly rough year – and in the case of Prince Harry, the past few weeks have been worse than ever.

Just days after his wife Meghan, 39, revealed she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage back in July, New Idea hears that Harry’s friends are now encouraging him to take a much-needed break.

Harry, a military veteran who, in recent years, has not shied away from revealing his mental health struggles, is being urged by those closest to him to “take care of himself ” – with some even suggesting a health retreat to help him cope with the intense pressure he has been under lately.

Along with the Sussexes’ recent and tragic loss, sources say Harry is also struggling to cope with being holed up in his new California home, thanks to COVID-19, with few friends and no family for support.

He is also said to be extremely upset over the controversy that has erupted over his late mum’s infamous Panorama interview.

“All these things at once would be overwhelming for anyone, let alone someone in such a public role,” says a source.
