March 2021

The super luxurious S21 Plus represents the middle child of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. It carries powerful internals in metal finished chassis and a super-smooth Full HD display making it one of the top competitors on the market. But the most important thing about this phone is that it’s a lot cheaper than last year’s model. Some of the features are missing on the Galaxy S21+; however, it remains a compelling purchase. Here’s why!

SAMSUNG GALAXY S21 PLUS

The Galaxy S21+ features a few critical changes in terms of design elements, starting with the screen. On every model in the S21 series, Samsung features a flat-panel screen instead of a curved one. At the back, the Samsung S21+ also features an aluminium cover instead of a glass back, which makes the phone feel a lot lighter. But perhaps the most significant change in the S21 in terms of looks is a redesigned camera array. It seamlessly blends in with the side panels and gives a very sleek look to the phone. Camera bumps will get bigger as time goes on because of bigger lenses and better sensors. However, the way Samsung has integrated these components is worthy of praise.

The rest of the design elements include a bezel-less display with a punch-hole camera, rounded edges and a 6.7-inch screen size. The camera performance of the Samsung Galaxy S21+ is impressive. The camera configuration includes a 12 MP wide, a 12 MP ultrawide and a 64 MP telephoto lens. On the front, you get a 10 MP selfie camera. It is the same configuration as last year’s Galaxy S20+ models, but the S21+ features better AI processing and new features like directors view, 8k video recording, single take etc. The smartphone’s 4800 mAh battery combined with a lower resolution screen and adaptive 120 Hz lends it a full day worth of power.
