DJ Khaled’s comments about avoiding oral sex broke the internet and Cosmo’s Joshua Joynes’ faith in breaking gender stereotypes

The Twitter world united in repulsion this month when the ‘King’ himself DJ Khaled, 42, made some regressive comments about women in the bedroom, and the different rules men apparently have when it comes to sex, in an interview.

Before we begin, let me be real transparent. I’ve never gone down on a woman, but not because I harbour considerably sexist thoughts about the expectations of women during sex – but because I’m gay. Sexuality aside, Khaled’s sentiment around sexual expectations made me sad – they’re wrong and frankly disappointing – regardless of what bat you’re swinging.
