Regan Hendry is looking forward by moving backwards in the team.

BY moving backward on the pitch this season, Regan Hendry believes he can move forward in his Celtic career.
The 19-year-old has usually operated on the flanks or the No.10 role for four years. But since the current campaign got underway against Annan in the Irn-Bru Cup, Hendry has enjoyed being stationed in a deeper central-midfield role with the opportunity to get on the ball more and have a greater influence on proceedings.
Since then, the positional change has helped Tommy McIntyre’s team to two convincing league wins over Falkirk and Hearts.
“As a team, we have improved on last season,” said Hendry. “The league performances have been more consistent this year. Personally, I am improving as a player, adapting to a new position and one I am enjoying. It’s been a good start to the season and hopefully we can continue.
