Looking to give your home a quick and painless update? Here are some easy no-reno design ideas to revive a tired interior
Whether you're looking to refresh your interior design or simply jazz up your rooms, it's important to note that the smallest things can make the biggest impacts. A simple design tweak or addition can bring colour, texture, depth and scale that will give your home something new, without any heavy duty renovations.

Curtain call
Curtains play an integral role in the overall look of your interior design. Not only are they a functional addition (they keep the sunlight out while offering privacy), but they also bring sottness, depth and dimension to any room. Changing your curtains and draperies can quickly update the look of a home, especially it you choose the right colour, texture and material. Lightweight and sheer curtains will filter natural light and can keep a room feeling soft and billowy. Heavier and thicker drapes can block the light and absorb sound. Having a combination of both types of curtains allow you to layer the look and control the amount of natural light entering your home.

Just add green
You'd be surprised at how a bit of greenery can enliven a space. Plants can bring zest and a feeling of freshness to even the most tired of spaces. If your feel like your home needs a little pickme-up, place a potted plant to make it teel homelier and more welcoming. Whether it's a small pot on a countertop, a large plant on the floor, a terrarium on a table or a mini indoor garden, these green additions instantly refresh a home. If you don't trust your abilities to take care of a plant, don’t worry. Even plastic plants have the same visual effect!
