Go bold with contrasting colour

The classic combination of orange and blue dominates this courtyard. Contrasting colours appear on opposite sides of the colour wheel, with orange and blue, yellow and purple, and red and green being the most powerful. Porcelain paving in contrasting tones of grey complements the linear architecture of the building. It has been laid in stripes perpendicular to the house, and in varying widths, to accentuate the size of the courtyard.
