When Pierre Frey and his wife Emilie instantly adored this charming property when they walked through the gate into its romantic garden, with the house covered in climbing roses. They’d been searching for a weekend home not too far from Paris, to be able to take their two children out of town over weekends. They also wanted space for family and friends to come to stay. ‘We love having lots of company,’ says Frey. Big social gatherings are a family tradition dating back to his grandparents’ time.
