THE COMPOSITION

Inspired by an Art Deco palette, as well as the demands of modern urban life, Alison from Boffi Studio Cape Town packed her entire kitchen away behind a series of panels that make up a bold feature wall. ‘This wall is a perfect example of how you can maximise space while creating an effortless flow between all living areas,’ she says. Rather than distract the eye, she complemented the wall with a glass dining table, which also allows light – and the eye – to travel through the room.
