Studio 5 India astutely turn a sprawling 4-BHK apartment in Pune into a luxurious home that balances drama and refined elegance and has been crafted to take maximum advantage of the stunning view of the lush surroundings.

A Royal View

When the principal members of a creative team share a common vision, and bring varied approaches to the table yet work in tandem, it leads to superlative work. Mumbai based Studio 5 India, helmed by interior designer Sachin D Khatpe, along with interior designers Tejashree M Ghanekar (the project head for this Pune home) and Pooja H, exemplifies this theory — the result of which can be seen in the design of a luxurious and stylish 4-BHK apartment for a well-travelled NRI couple and their teenaged son and daughter. The 14-year-old organization bagged this project owing to their flair for innovation that led to positive word-of-mouth publicity, besides their previous work association with the client.

Tejashree enthuses, “When we visited the site for the first time, the lush hill view took our breath away. Our immediate thought was that we needed to strike an inside-out connection that facilitated a glimpse of the greenery from every corner of the house. We planned the furniture flow accordingly and worked to create a spacious, free flowing space with minimum barriers. ”Working with a rich rust colour palette and taking artwork as a primary tool, the designers conceptualized a design language that fused stylish, modern, comfort with regal luxury and elegance. This has been further highlighted with the help of marble, veneer, teak woodwork, crystals and patterned textiles.
