EASY STEPS TO YOUR VELVET BEDHEAD

Gather your supplies

•2400 x 1200 x 9mm MDF

• Upholstery batting

• Upholstery velvet

• 50mm upholstery foam

• 65 x 19mm Tasmanian oak

•42 x 19mm Tasmanian oak

You'll also need

Circular saw; spray adhesive; scissors; staple gun and staples; electric knife; PVA glue; construction adhesive; drill; 40mm nails; wood filler; sandpaper; clear varnish; painting gear; countersinking drill bit; 50mm wood screws

ABOVE EACH BEDHEAD PANEL ARE TWO BOLSTERS, TOPPED BY A TASMANIAN OAK ART LEDGE.

Here's how

STEP 1 Use a circular saw to cut 865mm high panels of MDF. Cuti centre panel to half the width of the wall, then cut 2 side panels to fill the rest of the wall, and 2 wing panels that measure 450mm wide. For bolsters, cut two 100mm high panels to same width as centre panel, and 4 to same width as side and wing panels.
