HOW DID YOU COME TO START ARTICOLO?
Bribe International, our sister glassware company, was showing at Maison &Objet years ago. I had a moment when I put a large vase upside down over my hand, held it up and said ‘let’s get into lighting’. Back in Australia we designed our first light, the ‘Lumi’ table lamp, and took it to Maison &Objet the next year where it attracted a lot of interest – that was the start of a wonderful journey into exploring the art of light.

Belgian architectural design best references my own design style: black steel and casts or greys, neutrals and smokes.
