• Universal Yarn Uptown Worsted medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn (31/2oz/180 yds/100g per skein):

4 [4, 5, 5, 5] skeins #302 white glow (MC) 2 skeins each #353 Donahue (CA), #354 granite (CB) and #324, black (CC)

• Size L/11/8mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

• Stitch markers

• Tapestry needle

12 sts including chs = 4 inches; 12 rows = 4 inches

PATTERN NOTES

Chain-2 at beginning of row does not count as a stitch.

Chain-3 at beginning of row counts as first-half double crochet, chain-1.

Color sequence begins after first row after insets and is a repeat of [3 rows each of CA, CB, CC, and 5 rows of MC]; maintain this sequence throughout. If color change occurs with one stitch remaining, do not change colors.
