Home beauty care, using plant extracts and natural substances, have become very popular. We use herbs and plant extracts without a second thought, for external applications in beauty care. But, even with natural ingredients, we need to be careful.

For one thing, keep your skin type in mind, when choosing ingredients for skin or hair care. Skin care should be according to the skin type and also according to the seasons. In summer, for example, the skin needs toners and refreshers, to close the pores, remove sweat deposits and refresh the skin. In winter, on the other hand, the skin needs moisturizers and emollients to nourish the skin. But it may be a mistake to apply heavy creams on oily skin even in winter, especially if the skin is prone to acne, pimples or rash.
