Anne Boleyn is pregnant with Henry VIII’s heir, but in five months’ time she’ll be dead, executed by order of her tyrant husband.

This three-part historical drama is set in 1536, the year of Anne’s death, and the series explores those last few months from Anne’s perspective, as she struggles to cling to her status and as Henry (White House Farm’s Mark Stanley) seeks to replace her as queen with her lady-in-waiting Jane Seymour.
