As the Born to Be Different children return, lives hang in the balance…

Since 2003, C4 has been following the extraordinary lives of a group of children all born with different disabilities. The last time we saw them was in 2016, but now cameras return to film the teenagers – all aged between 18 and 19 – as they enter adulthood.

However, while three of them are successfully managing at university, Shelbie and Will, who have the most profound disabilities, are fighting for life.
