Leap of Faith

When Keeping Faith first arrived on BBC iPlayer, it became a huge hit, breaking records and attracting a devoted fan base. The Welsh thriller was initially meant to be a one-off series, but viewers clamoured for more, and this week the show’s third and final outing lands on BBC1.

Last time out, viewers were left reeling when Faith (Eve Myles) finally ordered her unstable husband Evan (Bradley Freegard) to leave after discovering all his dangerous secrets.

Now, 18 months have passed and Faith and Evan are going through a messy divorce, while Faith’s love interest Steve Baldini (Mark Lewis Jones) has so far kept to his word and stayed out of her life.

FAMILY STRUGGLES

‘We left Faith at the end of series two asking Evan to leave and a divorce was imminent,’ reveals Myles. ‘She’d come to learn of his secrets and had become embroiled in the dark underworld that Evan was running away from.

‘It was my favourite scene to film because it ended up like a piece of theatre. Now, in the new series, you can expect the unexpected and even more secrets revealed.’
