LIVE FOOTBALL

Sat-Fri, BBC1 HD, ITV HD & S4C HD

Football fever will grip Britain as England, Scotland and Wales get their Euro campaigns underway, including a mouth-watering clash between England and Scotland on Friday (ITV HD, kick-off 8pm).

Fans of both nations are set to be inside Wembley Stadium for the much-anticipated Group D clash and ITV presenter Mark Pougatch expects an electric atmosphere.

‘It’s been so hard without the fans over the last year,’ he says. ‘They returned at the end of the season and we saw the difference they made. There might be only 22,500 for England against Scotland but I’m sure it will feel like 80,000.’

FEVER PITCH

While the fixture is sure to grab the headlines, both sides have equally important matches before then.
