‘I remember sitting there in Westminster Abbey and hearing that Edward III was my 26-times great-grandfather,’ says Dyer. ‘It was a revelation, and as I’m trying to digest it, the credits roll – so Who Do You Think You Are? ended just as it started to get good!’
