Director Spike Lee returns this week with his first screen project since his Oscar win for BlacKkKlansman. And his new movie, Da 5 Bloods, is already predicted to be a contender at next year’s Academy Awards.
The Netflix film follows four African-American veterans who return to Vietnam to retrieve the body of their former squad leader – and also collect a stash of gold that they buried along with him.
