Dylan Mcdermott: I Had To Reinvent Myself

Dylan McDermott isn’t a name that pops to mind when you think sitcom star. “People only know what they’ve seen,” says the actor, famed as a brooding leading man on TV’s The Practice. But his goofball FOX comedy LA to Vegas (Tues., 9 p.m.) has finally given him a golden opportunity to be silly: “I was never really given the chance to be funny. But this was my moment for people to say, ‘I didn’t know he had it in him!’”
