This month, actor Chandan Roy Sanyal will be seen in the highly anticipated comic thriller, Jabariya Jodi. He tells us about the films and his role in it:

What drew you to the script?

I thought it was an interesting take on the social phenomenon of forced marriages that have plagued Bihar for a long time. Many films set in Bihar tend to be themed around violence, but Jabariya Jodi shows a totally different side of it, with dollops of fun, humor, and sweetness in its mood and setting. I knew I’d enjoy its zesty mix of language, costume, food, people and situations.
