SANDRA BULLOCK is spent. Long one of Hollywood's most bankable stars, she has a career that spans 35 years and nearly 60 movies, including her recent return to rom-coms, The Lost City. Now she says it's time for a break. "I'm so burnt out," the Oscar winner complained in a recent interview. "I'm so tired, and I'm so not capable of making healthy, smart decisions, and I know it."

At 57, the mom of two is stepping out of the spotlight-ostensibly to spend more time with kids Louis, 12, and Laila, 10, and boyfriend of seven years photographer Bryan Randall. "I don't want to be beholden to anyone's schedule other than my own," she said. But lackluster reviews for The Lost City and ongoing trauma from a 2014 home invasion have also left the actress craving downtime. "Sandra has been pushing herself hard for longer than her loved ones can remember," an insider tells Star. "Right now she just wants family time, and work is going to have to wait a while."
