GH'S WILLOW TO MICHAEL: “I'M MARRYING CHASE”

Despite being in love with Michael, Willow accepts Chase’s marriage proposal after Finn delivers the grim news that Chase is dying.

Sets up Katelyn MacMullen (Willow), “It’s super-emotional and everyone has practically been living in the hospital and just pulling for him to get better in any way possible. The characters just found out that Chase is not going to make it, so it’s kind of like his dying wish. I think it’s a decision that’s a little impulsive, but it’s also in the heat of so much emotion and grief. I think Willow is probably weighing her choices: ‘Do I tell him right now [that I’m in love with Michael], do I nip this in the bud and tell him right now as he’s proposing, or do I just make his final days happy?’ ”
