The New Edition singer’s devastating loss follows the deaths of his ex-wife Whitney Houston at the age of 48 in 2012 and the couple’s daughter, 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina, in 2015.

“Bobby has suffered through so much pain in his life and it’s left him feeling like he’s cursed,” revealed an insider. “He’s a loving father who always does the best he can and what’s right for his kids, but there seems no escaping tragedy. Every time he goes some way to dealing with one loss, another seems to happen.”
