Michelle & Mark Separate Lives

The pair are spending less and less time together and face months apart next year.

In public, they could hardly be closer – pouting together on the red carpet, posing on the beach in the tiniest of swimsuits and generally declaring their love as loudly as possible. But if you follow Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright on social media, you might have noticed the stream of loved-up joint selfies has dried up lately.

And last week, as Michelle sunned herself in Los Angeles, thousands of miles away from her husband, the potential for cracks in their marriage were perhaps once again all too visible.

In fact, for all their talk of making up for lost time together, Michelle and Mark, both 29, are arguably once again virtual strangers, with both of them working so hard and often away from one another – a situation that looks unlikely to change in the foreseeable future.

Mark wasn’t in LA with Michelle, who was surrounded by girlfriends and colleagues as she attended work meetings. This is in stark contrast to when the pair endured a long-distance relationship in 2014 – with Michelle still based in Manchester for her job on Coronation Street. Speaking at the time about being so far apart, Mark admitted: ‘It’s difficult. We’re both very busy at the moment, it’s not been easy.’

And even when the pair were together recently in Essex, Michelle’s family travelled down from the north west and set about cooking the family meal. Michelle said: ‘I had a really chilled weekend in Essex. My mum [Jacqueline] came down to stay with us and cooked us some delicious Spanish food. Thanks, Mum!’

And with next year set to involve even more work and international travel for Michelle, is it any wonder her friends are worried about her marriage?
