The summer holidays are just days away and, like the rest of us, TV presenter Davina McCall can’t wait to take a break. This year, along with her husband Matthew Robertson and their children – Holly, 15, Tilly, 13, and Chester, ten – she plans to escape to France, her “happy place”.

“I’m half-French so I’m going to be French for two weeks,” she reveals in an exclusive chat with hello! ahead of the new series – the seventh – of the tearjerking ITV show Long Lost Family, which starts next week.
