Digital Transformation Dialogue. The event saw participation from leadifg manufacturing companies which have implemented latest technologies such as Industry 4.0, automation, artificial intelligence, etc. and are at the advance stage of digitalisation.

In this round-table debate, the discussion revolved around how digitalisation will help the country to work towards becoming a 5 trillion-dollar economy increasing contribution of the manufacturing industry. Rajiv Gandhi, Sr. Executive Director – Production & Member of Executive Board Maruti Suzuki India said that today, time from concept to market has reduced drastically and hence it is imperative to use tools such virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI). This helps the OEMs reduce testing times by simulating required environment conditions. On the other hand, Vijay Sethi, Chief Information Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, Head Corporate Social Responsibility, Hero MotoCorp discussed that the industries like auto have extensive and complex supply chains. With the help of IT solutions, the complexities can become easier and managed well.
