The wool of rams and ewes should be tested and evaluated separately, and the data submitted separately.
The weaning data must be submitted to SA Stud Book before the adaptation period.
• Adaptation period
Shear the lambs that fall within the weight limits as soon as possible after arrival. This must be followed by an adaptation period of 28 days, during which all the rams should be exposed to the same feed and environment.
• Wool test period
