Founder-CEO of National US India Chamber Of Commerce (NUICC) Purnima Voria’s visit to goa promises to herald a new trade and economic exchange. A representative of the ivanka trump-led trade delegation to india, Voria is keen to look at defence, aerospace and startups as sectors of mutual synergy between Goa and the United States.

Purnima Voria, founder-CEo of National US India Chamber of Commerce (NUICC), and a member of the business delegation from the US led by Ivanka Trump, professed her interest in focusing on Goa to bring in investments from the United States and facilitate business tie-ups in the defence and aerospace sector by the US companies; and to create a launching pad for startups.
A trade delegation from the US will be arriving in Goa for DefExpo 2018, she said.
Voria had meetings with Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and Panaji Mayor Surendra Furtado. She expressed that US firms are eager to collaborate in sectors such as IT, cyber security, waste management and education.
